One Saturday, noon to midnight. Ninety-six bands on eight stages strung along a single bus route. Nobody drives. Nobody parks. Everybody rides the party.

Everybody on the same clock

The Timetable

Twelve 45-minute sets, identical in all eight rooms, with the 56 running between them. Walk out at a quarter to, catch the bus, walk in on the downbeat.

Every tick is a real Saturday departure at Five Points, from WeGo’s published schedule. Rooms close at 11:45pm and the buses keep running for more than an hour after. Schedules change — check WeGo before you plan the night.

The number that matters. Not one room is more than a three-minute walk from a Route 56 stop, and six of the eight are under a minute. This is not a festival asking you to suffer for the bus. On this line the bus is the best way to do the night.

One pass

The Fare

The festival pass is the bus pass. Tap it anywhere on the 56, ride all day, walk into any of the eight rooms.

City Sponsored

To support the arts, the venues, and public transportation

PROPOSED — WeGoFest is seeking city sponsorship. Nothing is committed yet.

The Arts

Ninety-six paid sets by working bands in a single day, from noon to a quarter to midnight. Every artist settled the same night, straight to their own account.

The Venues

Eight independent rooms across three council districts, full from noon on a Saturday. The customer and the money stay with the rooms that did the work.

Public Transportation

Every ticket holder rides Route 56, all day. A Saturday of new riders on Gallatin Pike, and a public case for what Choose How You Move pays for.

Why the bus part is nearly free, and still the point. WeGo caps local fares — tap a card and you are never charged more than about four dollars in a day. So bundling the ride costs next to nothing. What it buys is the thing WeGo needs on a heavy Saturday: a thousand people who board fast because the fare is the ticket.

Rooms on the 56

Every room books every room

WeGoFest is a group effort. Each of the eight venues picks one band for every other venue on the line, so from noon to 7pm every set is presented by a neighbor. The 5 Spot’s afternoon, for instance, runs Dee’s, Eastside Bowl, The Underdog, Skinny Dennis, The Cobra, East Room and No Quarter, one hour each.

The afternoon is laid out so that every hour, each venue has exactly one band playing in someone else’s room. Follow a room’s taste up and down Gallatin Pike. From 7pm to close, each room books its own five sets.

Who is behind it

It runs on Venyall

Eight independent rooms. One pass. The money split eight ways, and not a cent of service fee charged to the person who came to see a band. No mainstream ticketing platform does that without it becoming somebody’s full-time job.

That is why WeGoFest is possible at all, and it is the plainest demonstration of what Venyall is for: the venues keep the customer, keep the money, and settle with their artists the same night.

If it works for eight rooms sharing one festival, it works for your one room on a Tuesday.

WeGoFest is being put together now. The date, the lineup and the pass are not final, and nothing here is an offer to sell a ticket yet.

Stop positions and venue coordinates from OpenStreetMap. Council districts checked against Metro Nashville’s current boundary layer. Walking distances are straight-line; times assume a normal pace on a real street grid. Route 56 service levels and fares belong to WeGo and can change — confirm before planning a night around them.

A Venyall project. Nashville, Tennessee.
